Maybe it was the music playing in the room or the mild climate despite the late winter, but it was a particularly relaxed day here at the Perla Resort in Nova Gorica, where the 8th act of a Grand Final was held.
A total of 36 out of 121 entries qualified for Sunday's Day2 (HERE is the complete schedule). To these will be added the last Day1s survivors scheduled tomorrow, Saturday 18 February, starting at 13.00 (the second will begin at 19.00)

The best of all was ALDO ENRICO PEZZOTTI (photo above) who bagged 440,000 in chips, the only one among the qualifiers to exceed 400,000. He was followed with a significant gap by ELVIS KALLASHI (386,000) and DAVIDE COJANIZ (333,000).

Excellent performance also for the Cagliari-born ANDREA SIRIGU (322,000) who is watching the podium closely, followed by LORENA DEL TREPPO (302,000) in fifth position.

About the Golden Boys team, today formed only by Monica Poggi, Jack Ravaioli, and Maurizio Migliorini, the only ones to save themselves are her husband (30th at 138.00) and Maurizio, who will bring 271,000 chips to Day2.
Online regular Marco Regonaschi (260,000) also made it to the second attempt, as did Giorgio Montebelli (161,000), both eliminated at Day1G.
